Jack Labens, Empire Covers Product Research

When I first bought my car a few years ago, I did my best to maintain it by cleaning it regularly inside and out. That was pretty hard to do, especially during the winter when I tracked mud, dirt, snow, and ice into my car, no thanks to my dirty shoes. This became a problem when the things I was tracking in started to stain the floor mats in my car. I tried to keep the mats nice because it was new car and I liked it to be clean for guests who ride in my car. I was also worried because it could decrease the value of my car if I decided to sell it later on. I decided it would be a good idea to purchase some floor mats with better stain resistance.

To make things easier, I bought a set of custom car mats to replace my worn and dirty factory mats. Last July, I bought Ultimats from Empirecovers.com, which are great for trapping dirt and debris. I was even able to personalize the mats by choosing my favorite color and getting my name embroidered on them. These mats worked great for me until winter rolled around.

During the winter, I tracked mud, dirt, snow, and ice into my car, no thanks to wet snow boots and shoes. This became a problem when the things I was tracking in started to stain the floor mats in my car. My Ultimats were great, but I wanted more protection, I also didn’t want to destroy thm.

When I started to research more weatherproof floor mats, I knew I wanted another set of custom mats so they would fit as well as my Ultimats did. I finally decided on the Rubbertite™ mats from Empirecovers.com because their features fit my needs the best. The Rubbertite™ mats came in the exact pattern for the make, model, and year of my car, making it easy to find right what I needed. They also looked really good for being rubber mats, which is important because I didn’t want to sacrifice style. I was able to choose the right color for my car and a style that matched.

Rubbertite™ floormats also have trunk patterns. If you happen to haul around muddy gear or tools in your trunk, the Rubbertite™ is a great choice. I’ve had them for a few months now, and they’ve completely stood up to the expectations I had when I first bought them. Each mat has hundreds of uniform “wells” that trap all liquid.

For example, last week I accidentally knocked over a cup of coffee from my cup holder. Normally I would cringe to think of the awful stain that would occur on the carpet mats. But, the coffee collected in the rounded wells. I was able to simply clean up the liquid with a paper towel and spray the mat clean with the hose. These mats are really durable and can withstand freezing temperatures. Also, they have backing holds as well as a non-slip surface that keep the mats in place for additional safety. I love my Rubbertite™ floor mats and I’ve recommended them to all my friends. Jack Labens, Empire Covers Product Research
