BMW M3

February 20th, 2009

BMW’s new M3 could be the last of the true M cars. BMW has always reserved the sacred letter for special versions of their every day cars fitted with racing inspired suspension and high revving, naturally aspirated motors. The horsepower numbers these produce have given M models performance beyond their price range.  There are rumors, however, that threaten this tradition. There is speculation that there will be M versions of the new X6 SUVmodel, and that future M class cars will feature smaller displacement turbo motors rather than the high strung motors we have come to love.

This car is one of many seen at the Philadelphia Auto Show that deserves the protection of a car cover! Its 414HP V8 motor spins to almost 9,000 RPM’s, making this a special car indeed… But if you wandered to this post after looking at these pictures, I am sure you already knew.
